Framework Seattle is the first affiliate school of Framework Jiu-Jitsu. Framework was founded in 2016 by third degree black belt Drew Vogel, originally located in Capitol Hill.
Drew brought his elegant, effective, and pressure-tested style of jiu-jitsu west from his home gym of Balance Studios in Philadelphia, and together with his wife Chrissie, ran Framework HQ here for over six years.
In 2023, Drew moved Framework HQ to Florida, leaving Framework Seattle in the hands of his long time students, Jacob Tsypkin and Mike Torres.
